The Continuing Adventures of Being A Head

Work continues on the upcoming Heads album. Guitars are piling up like its going out of style. Phasers, echoplex, backwards guitar, forwards guitar, mellotrons, E Bow and even some deliberate iPhone interference. If it makes a noise, its going on the record.
And speaking of noise, I just got my hands on two more weapons of mass audio destruction to add to the mix.
First one is a Korg X911 guitar synth circa 1981. Makes your guitar sound like C3PO being raped by a fax machine. Thanks to Mark Murphy for letting me borrow this utterly useless hunk of guitar wrecking pleasure.

Second one is the Nady DS50 Distortion Sustainer.
Its a Big Muff. Only better. More bottom end than a vintage Rams Head, more sizzle than a Civil War era Muff AND its available at Sears and Target for the cost of a bag of reefer. Best Big Muff I've played since the Op Amp version I used in Monster Magnet. And check out just how ugly this thing is!

    I have this same pedal & it's the shit!! Ugly but sounds awesome. Glad to see someone else with one.

    John, you or any other owners of this pedal try to true bypass it? Not crazy about the switching mechanism of an otherwise awesome Muff. Once I get it worked out I'll post my results.
